LiveFireSportsLeague.com is a Team Fortress 2 ladder site currently in it's alpha stages of testing since it's recent update to the scripting. After our internal testing ends this week, we will be opening the site to a select few clans interested in helping beta test the site for about a week or so. All beta participates will receive a LiveFireSportsLeague.com Beta Tester T-Shirt and Hat.

Alot of details are still being hammered out as far as the type of ladders we will be running or the method of determining ranks.(Points based or League style). One thing I can be certain of is that Live Fire Sports will always offer free ladders for all clans who want to compete for their bragging rights but we will also have competitions with prize rewards. Live Fire Sports first competition is roughly schedules for Aug. 4th. with (atleast) a 22" monitor up for grabs for first place.

BOMBING RUN

Tonight we had a great trial run of the LFS Bombing Run, a PvP competition involving control points. Eswat, Imperial Fist and the Guardians of New Earth fought with honor. At the end of the day, the team of Imperial Fists and the Guardians of New Earth won . We'll be doing a couple more trial runs so if your squad or clan is interested drop us a line. We'll host it on anyserver. The event has also spawned a couple more ideas, the LFS Assassination Run and the 3:10 to Defiance (more details to follow).

REFEREES NEEDED

We've got a couple of staffing positions to fill.Chief and Lead referees are needed on Orion, Centaurus and Pegasus. Chief referees will be responsible for organizing and ensuring all the event referees are briefed with the rules and mechanics of the event they are overseeing. Lead Referees are the second in command to help the chiefs and to assume their positions when a chief can't make certain events.
